In Komsomolsk, Poltava region., Ukraine, the identification code number 34739012) and the company TERMOSELEKT SA, Switzerland (in the person of President Dr. Jurgen Riegel c.Pyatstsa Pedratstsini 11, 6600 Locarno) concluded contract number #05/EKO about supplying of technological equipment TERMOSELEKT to build a plant for processing household and industrial waste in Komsomolsk, Poltava region., Ukraine.
October 18, 2007 City Council Komsomolsk, Poltava region (the sixteenth session of the fifth convocation) make a decision on about “Harmonization of the location of the object and design of the project land”.
Kharkov Promstroy NI Project developed urban planning motivation of placing an object in Komsomolsk on the processing and disposal of solid waste and industrial waste technology "Termoselekt" an area of 5 hectares in the light of future development (capacity of 100 thousand tons per year).
The Swiss company TERMOSELEKT SA was founded on Feb. 14, 1990 in Vaduz (Liechtenstein) with an authorized capital of $ 70 mln.shv.fr. 30 the August 1990 was registered in Switzerland with an authorized capital of $ 65 mln.shv.fr.
1. Technology Termoselekt (hereafter TS) can achieve full processing of household and industrial wastes in a closed system, based on high-temperature gasification with a prolonged treatment process gases.
2. There are 7 plants, built on technology TC, licensed and working in Japan.
3. When building a plant for the TC stage of technology "project" (basic design) is made exclusively by the company in Switzerland. At work designing and manufacturing equipment company works with outside contractors.
4. A plant consists of 1-10 lines (each able to process about 75-125 tons of waste per year).
5. From the time of the contract to commissioning runs about 24-36 months.
6. The cost of the plant - from 60 to 83 million Euro. If desired, part of the construction work (40%) and equipment can be removed from the order and executed by local manufacturers.
7. TC gave a license to use its technology the such company as: JFE (Kawasaki issued 1997) in Japan (already built 7 plants), the company IWT («Interstate Waste Technologies») in the United States (projects in California, near Los Angeles) and DAEWOO in Korea.
P r o d u c t s TC:
1. The major product of plant TS is a synthesis gas, which may be sold to several businesses located industry (JSC - "Poltava GOK”, which produces iron ore pellets; LLC – “Erestovsky GOK”, LLC "Vorskla Steel" – steel mile, power plants, etc.) or independently use it to produce electricity or thermal energy.
2. In addition to synthesis gas, at output you get (in pellet) sulfur, metals, minerals, zinc blend, salt and water.
The relevance of TC technology:
TC Technology provides the processing of waste and the production of energy and resources, using pyrolysis gasification and melting system (system of gasification and conversion of gas). It is precluding the usual burning. It is nonaggressive to the environment.
The system produces: a purified synthetic gas from waste that can be used as energy sources and products metal and slag which produced during the pyrolysis of resources suitable for use.
It is very important that this technology involves a unique process of high-speed cooling that is the re-formation of dioxin.
Characteristics of plant and technology of the TC:
The plant can process any TC waste with fragments up to 700mm. There are no having limitations for waste.
They can be different kinds of forms and the materials. There is no need to waste splitting into smaller fragments, is not required equipment for the pretreatment.
Plants fully-waste (residual product is only water, purified for the technical requirements). All products as municipal solid waste and industrial waste completely liquid. Аlso made reception of municipal systems sewage sludge (up to 15% of the total taken by the waste)
Gas emissions are absent. Production almost completely automated. Need only 20-25 operators for automated systems. Admission waste produced directly from the wheels, so no need outdoor storage of waste. No exterior storage of incoming waste . Automated systems are blocking the possibility of accidents due to possible operator error.
Plants are very compact - the total area of about 2-3ga. All major equipment is in prefabricated structures in steel frames, hinged external walls, which facilitate installation of the equipment or its removal and replacement.

Synthesis gas: 11 885 cubic meters per hour, price - 0, 25 UAH / m, for sale - 100%;
Salt: 1 627 tons / year, cost - 3, 0 UAH / kg, for sale - 80%;
Metal: 500 tones / year, cost - 1, 0 UAH / kg, for sale - 100%;
Zinc concentrate: 1 005 tons / year, cost - 1, 0 UAH / kg, for sale - 40%;
Sulfur: 309 tons / year, cost - 16.0 UAH / kg, for sale - 65%;
Granules (or pellets): 25 478 tons / year, cost - 5, 0 UAH / kg, for sale - 100%.
Calculation of profitability waste

- From the sale of metal: $ 0.1 million;

- From the sale of Granules(or pellets): $ 25.23 million
Expected annual net profit could be about $ 22 million USD.
If we assume that the total period of pre-implementation and design, obtaining the necessary permits, installation, commissioning we spend - 1, 5 years, the payback of the project can make 5 - 6 years.
The expected average annual return during 15 years of the project may be within 10%.
We have now the conclusion of the Institute of Ecology and Toxicology L.I.Medvedya that the using of technology of thermal processing of wastes of the international firm "Termoselekt no dangerous for human security and environmental. We also have document about feasibility of building and operating" Termoselekt "in Ukraine.
In accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On external economic activity" and "On Foreign Investment Regime" Our company offers a joint investment partners to build a plant for processing household and industrial waste in Komsomolsk capacity of 100 thousand tons per year.
