Overhead conductor(AAC and ACSR) have
been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, because they have such good characteristics as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost large transmission capacity. And they are also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and the places where special geographical condition.
Conductor (AAAC) have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, and also used in power lines across great rivers, heavy ice area, and other places special geographical characteristics. The conductor have excellent advantages of high strength, large current carrying capacity and good catenary property as well as wear-resistance, anti-crush and corrosion-proof with simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost for the line, large transmission features exist.

• Resistance is calculated using ASTM standard increments of stranding and metal conductivity of 61.2% IACS for EC (1350) and 8% IACS for steel. AC (60Hz) resistance includes current dependent hysteresis loss factor for 1 and 3 layer constructions.
• Current ratings are based on 75oC conductor temperature, 25oC ambient, 2ft/s wind, 96/watts/sq.ft sun, 0.5 coefficients of emissivity and absorption.
AAAC bear conductor meets or exceeds the following ASTM Specifications:
B-398 Aluminum Alloy 6201-T81 Wire for Electrical Purpose.
B-399 Concentric-Lay-Stranded 6201-T81 Aluminum Alloy Conductors

The high-strength aluminum alloy conductor used for AAAC conforms to the standard JB/T 8134-1997(equivalent to IEC 60104: 1987).
