Fuction:
Escin has antiexudative, antiinflammatory, venotonic effects.
It can be used in skin care products.
Escin is a saponin extract from the Horse Chestnut Tree, in particular, the seeds. It is also knownw as Esculin, Aescin, and Rosskastanie. Escin acts as an astringent, vasoconstrictor, and anti-inflammatory activities. It is commonly used in skin treatments, especially those targeted towards spider veins and varicose veins. Escin helps to boost circulation and improve vein health.
Escin is often found in ointments, gels, creams, or oral medications to help boost skin health.
