Common Name: Bispyribac-sodium
Chemical name: Sodium 2,6-bis[(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)oxy] benzoate
Properties: pure product is white crystalline solid; melting point 223-224 C; vapor pressure 5.05 x 10-9 Pa (25 C); distribution coefficient LogP(23 C)-1.03; density 0.0737(20 C); solubility (25 C): in water 73.3, in methanol 26.3, in acetone 0.043. Half-life in water(pH 7-9) is 1 year. No decomposition for 14 days at 55 C. PKa 3.05.
Use: Bispyribac-sodium is used to control of grasses, sedges and broad-leaved weeds, especially Echinochloa spp., in direct-seeded rice. Also used to stunt growth of weeds in non-crop situations.
Specification: 95% TC, 40% SC, 20% SC, 20% WP, etc.
