Honeycomb ceramics is one kind of industrial porous ceramics, many passable parallel channels are ramified over its inside. Each individual part made up of these honeycomb ceramics are constructed into the shape with square cells at two ends. Of which the materials are cordierite(2MgO. 2Al2O3.5SiO2), aluminum titanate(Al2TiO5), mullite(3Al2O3.2SiO2), alumina(Al2O3) and some other compound materials. Compared with ordinary ceramic materials, they are characterized by low heat expansion ratio, high thermal shock resistance, large specific surface area, anticorrosion etc.
Honeycomb ceramic series are: Heat transfer media for RTO, catalyst support monolith for RCO, AUTO and motor catalyst support, Electrical blower ceramic slice, liquefied gas stove slice and infrared honeycomb ceramic plate.
