Chengdu Tianhui Valve Guide Manufacturing Co., Ltd.（formerly known as Chengdu Tianhui Fittings Co., Ltd.）was founded in 1992 and since then has been focusing on R & D, manufacture and sales of valve guides, rocker arms and precombustion chambers. With rapid growth in output and constant increase in demands, we now have consolidated our strength and become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of valvetrain components with most diverse models.
To sustain business growth, increase market share and maximize customer satisfaction, we made sizable investment in our new factory located in Jinniu High-Tech Industrial Park in 2006. It covers a total land area of 30 Mu (equivalent to 2 hectares) with a building area of 18,800 square meters. We have accomplished the establishment and smooth operation in January 2008. With a few additional production lines established, it now has been built into modern manufacturing facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, complete logistic support and presentable landscaping. Through equipment upgrading, technological innovation and optimized management and talent recruitment, we have strengthened our R & D and production capability as well as management and operation efficiency.
So far we have developed a well-trained and specialized workforce of 200 employees, including 4 senior engineers and 12 engineering staff and have an annual production capacity of 7 million valve guides of more than one thousand models. Since our founding, we have highly valued product quality and reaffirmed our proposition that quality is the key to business viability and customer satisfaction. Complete process control procedure and testing specification and quality assurance system have been formulated and practiced in every aspects of production. We have relentlessly practiced those procedures and specifications to guarantee consistent quality. Since 2003, we have been certified with and implementing QS-9000 international quality system. Currently, we are working on TS-16949 quality management system certification and are expected to be certified within this year.
As the World’s valve guide manufacturer with the most diverse models, we have the R & D and mass production capability for a wide range of engines, including Cummins, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Isuzu, Nissan, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Kamostsu, Volvo, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar and Harvey motorcycle. Overwhelmingly 90% of our production has been exported to the US and EU markets. In the last five years, our production has aggregated to 25 million pieces.
We have always attached great importance to the investment in R & D capability and built our own competent engineering team to work collaboratively with major engine OEMs at home and abroad to develop new products. In recent years, we have successively developed new models of rocker arm and rocker shaft kits for OEM in the European market and supply precombustion chambers for export-oriented cylinder head manufacturers in China.
We are taking actions to establish our own foundry and making joint efforts with large Chinese copper manufacturers to develop new abrasion, magnetism and corrosion-resistant metarial and establish brass bushing produciton line catering to the market demands at home and abroad. We also desire to seek strong strategic investors for productive cooperatiion.
We will be persistently committed to our proposition: To offer our customers products with higher performance/price ratio through striving for first-class quality and service.
We currently offer five main product lines of valve guide, rocker arm, precombustion chamber, valve seat insert and rocker shaft. Our valve guide covers more than 1, 000 different models with the world’s most complete part numbers available. 90% of our products are exported to the EU and US markets and have been applied to most of the well-known engine brandnames, such as Cummins, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Isuzu, Nissan, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Kamotsu, Volvo, Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar and Harvey motorcycle. Our precombustion chamber also covers more than 100 different models, and now has been used by export-oriented OEM cylinder head manufacturers.
Apart from production, we have built up technical capability of independent development of precombustion chamber, valve guide, valve seat insert, rocker shaft kit in accordance with the OEM part and deliver customers new products in a possible shortest lead time. During the R & D process of engine OEM, our technical team has the capacity to collaborate with them and offer engineering support services, such as to ensure material quality, property, machining precision and tolerance comply with standards. For some components of special specification, our technical team will closely coordinate and communicate with engine OEM’s R & D team to make comments and suggestions for improvements in the design or provide alternative technological solutions.
We are now licensed to run exports independently with our customers abroad, which makes our communication and services more efificient and effective and saves the trouble caused by misunderstanding through any trader in between.
