Q10 COENZYME is used by the body to produce energy for cells, and as an antioxidant.
Q10 COENZYME is being studied in the treatment of cancer and in the relief of side effects caused by some cancer treatments. Q10 COENZYME is known to be highly concentrated in heart muscle cells due to the high energy requirements of this cell type.
Congestive heart failure has been strongly correlated with significantly low blood and tissue levels of Q10 COENZYME. This Q10 COENZYME deficiency may well be a primary etiologic factor in some types of heart muscle dysfunction while in others it may be a secondary phenomenon. Whether primary, secondary or both, this deficiency of Q10 COENZYME appears to be a major treatable factor in the otherwise inexorable progression of heart failure.

Special attention: Idebenone is similar with CoQ10, it benefit not only heart, but also brain, because of its smaller molecular weight. It is much cheaper, don’t mistake them by the same appearance.
