Electronic fluorescent ballast, instant start, high power factor, for T8 32watt 4 tube, 3 lamp, 2 light, Instant start lamp electrodes are not heated, instant ballasts provide a high open circuit voltage across the unheated electrodes to initiate the arc discharge, instant start operation is more efficient than rapid start, but as in preheat, lamp life is shorter
