Ferrosilicon briquette is a new type briquette research and produced. It is also called ferro silicon briquette, FeSi Ball. Ferrosilicon is one of the most common used ferroalloy in steelmaking and casting industries. Silicon is used to remove oxygen from steel and as alloying element to improve the final quality of the steel and iron, with the effect of signally increasing temperature of liquid steel. Besides steel-making and cast iron, it is also used as a base-alloy of other ferroalloys’ production. The output and consumption of FeSi Alloy are both with very large numbers.
