Product Description:
What is it ?
Fireplace ceramic glass is best for higher temperature applications, which is also called
crystallite glass. It can withstand constant temperatures up to either 1256 degrees F (PyroCeram 1/8" or 3mm thick) or 1470 degrees F (NeoCeram, 3/16" or 5mm thick). It is actually not glass, but a polycrystalline, clear ceramic material. Because of its ability to withstand constant high temperature, it is best used for applications where glass must be within a proximity of 6 inches or less to fire or for applications where the temperature exceeds what tempered glass can withstand.
Advantages:
It is resisting to heat and cold, even to extreme temperature changes. This extraordinary property enables a variety of applications: cooking on glass ceramic appliances day after day, and protecting your fire places or stoves, still enjoying flames view.
It is low thermal expansion, lower than borosilicate glasses or standard.
It can enhance the beauty and functionality of any fireplace design, and increase safety and efficiency with the installation of a quality Stoll fireplace glass.
It can prevent heat loss and increase the heat output for the fireplace.
It has variety of color for which it is manufactured by integrating product method, there is no natural stone texture (break), set product method is a kind of can make rich tonal.

3. Net sized glass of strengthening can be supplied as per the customer’s requirement;
4. Glass of small cut size is available according the requirement from customers.
5. Density---approx. 2.6 g /cm3
6. Modulus of Elasticity--- approx. 93 x 103 Mpa
7. Bending Strength--- approx. 35 MPa
The bending strength testing is to be accomplished according to DIN EN 1288 part 5 (R45).
8. Thermal Characteristics
Coefficient of Mean Linear Expansion---α (20-700 degree C) (0 +/- 0.5) x 10-6 /K
9. Resistance to Temperature Differences (RTD)
Resistance of the panel to temperature differences between heated zone and cold panel edge (room temperature). No cracking due to thermal stress at Tes, max1<=700oC
10. Thermal Shock Resistance
Resistance of the panel to thermal shock when the hot panel (780oC) is quenched with cold water (20oC temperature). No cracking due to thermal stress at Tes, max<=700 Degree C
11. Chemical Characteristics of Base Material
Acid Resistance--- DIN 12116: at least class S3
Alkaline Resistance---based on ISO 695: at least class A2
12.Screen printing: complies with CE standards, normal ink available
