Single-stage, submersible pumps with one-side open impeller, equipped with a shredder, are able to pump liquids contaminated with long-fibred bodies, which would cause clogging up in case of conventional hydraulics. There is an optional version of FZX pump, made of high abrasion resistance materials, e.g. chromium cast iron.
Dedicated mainly to pump raw faecal sewage, where there is a risk of methane explosion and meeting of explosion-protection requirements Ex is required.
Pumps drive meets requirements of the ATEX standard.
