Product Description:
Gantry type cutting machine is one type of heavy duty CNC flame/plasma cutting machine, so it is more
suitable for the thick plate cutting. Its width ranges from 3m to 12m, and length is not limited. High productive and multifunction make it is widely used in Shipbuilding, construction and many other heavy industries.
When the machine width is 4m or less, one driven motor in longitudinal direction which is built in one side of the machine is enough for the cutting machine to get the good cutting quality. We named the model of this kind machine is CNCDG. If the width is 3000mm, the model should be CNCDG3000, and so on. And when the width is more than 4m, in order to avoid more errors generated by the non-synchronous movement two sides of the machine, we will fit two driven motors, that is to say, one side has one drive motor. And we name the machine with width above 4000mm CNCSG.
But when the machine has plasma, we recommend our client to use the dual motors driven at any width. Because the plasma has very high cutting speed, and dual side driven can assure of the better accuracy.
