Equipped with a panic button/SOS feature, activated it immediately alerts 3 predetermined text or email recipients of the child’s danger, sending an alert every 2 minutes for 40 minutes with the most current tracking information. Parents may also set a virtual perimeter using the 6.0 GeoFencing, if the perimeter is crossed, an alert is sent to the parent.
The True Tracker Pro does not rely on a home-based box (receiver/transmitter) for the signal. There is no range restriction, the 6.0 tracks anywhere in the world at any time. This unit will continue tracking during blackouts, and severe weather conditions.
True Tracker Pro incorporated cutting edge software for the 6.0. Using 3D maps from Google, Microsoft Virtual Earth and Yahoo Maps showing bird’s eye and Ariel views. The True Tracker Pro plots from location to location-showing date, times, speed and distances traveled. The 6.0 is a self-contained lightweight, water resistant, small durable unit, weighing only 3 ounces, making the 6.0 practical for children of all ages.
True Tracker Pro’s 6.0 is cost competitive. Location information is reported using a direct GPRS date connection. The 6.0 utilizes a built-in-20 channel SIRF Star III GPS WAAS enabled receiver and a built-in tri-bank (850/1800/1900MHz) GSM GPRS modem, and the unit contains a built in rechargeable Li-ion battery.
