CHILEAN Crafts made with flowers, fruits and vegetables undergo a water extracting pressing process that preserves the original colour and size, aroma and texture.
The time required for the completion of this technique varies from a week to a month. Once pressed and dehydrated they are adhered and applied onto decorative and practical objects -such as wooden trays, ceramic plates, leather or metal coasters, boards and other items-, coated with a resin layer that protects the surface from scratches, dents, liquid spills and moisture, thus allowing their use as everyday household utensils.
Simple and basic tips for proper care include avoiding exposure to direct sunlight and wiping the surface with a soft cloth moistened with a non-abrasive furniture polish.
The uniqueness of each piece never two alike- is the mark of the artists originality and bears the recognizable and identifiable style that becomes the artisans signature
