The spikes are designed for use in the bird proofing industry in particular they should be used to deter pigeons and some similar birds. The product base is made from high quality; ultra violet light-stabilized polycarbonate. The length of each strip is approximately 333mm. Temperature resistance: no loss of mechanical strength at a temperature of 130 degrees centigrade. The protruding spikes are manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel and have a tensile strength of 1600N/mm. The length of each spike is 110mm and has a diameter of approximately 1.3mm, angles and spacing of spikes can be determined from the diagrams below.

24 protruding wires and 3 different angles make this the widest spike available; no need to use 2 rows of spikes when a single row of our spikes can be used for getting rid of pigeons from ledges with a depth up to 112mm (4-1/2 inches) wide.
• Long Life Expectancy
A 3mm thick UV stabilized base and high tensile wires with a diameter of 1.3mm ensures these spikes will be around a lot longer then most other spikes.
• 3 Rows of Wires
like most other spikes available, our spikes have three rows of wires that are cleverly angled outwards making landing impossible from whichever direction the pigeons and some similar birds might approach.
• Easily Snap Into Sections
Along the base of the spike are 8breakable sections that can be simply snapped apart with your fingers.
Patented Silicone Fixing Holes
Along the base are 16 holes; when the spikes are pressed onto a ledge the silicone oozes through the holes forming rivets that lock the spike firmly to the surface.
