Nd:YAG (Neodymium Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet, Nd:Y3Al5O12)
Nd:YAG has been and continues to be
the most mature and most widely used crystals for lasers, no matter solid state or lamp pumped, CW or pulsed. It possesses a combination of properties uniquely favorable for laser operations. We have developed the state-of-the-art crystal growing technology to enable the availability of large, high quality crystals.
1) Orientation: <111> crystalline direction (+/-0.5℃)
2) Wavefront Distortion: <l/10 at 632.8nm for 3 ~ 7mm<l/8 per inch at 632.8nm for >=7mm
3) Surface Quality: better than 10/5 Scratch/Dig per MIL-O-1380A
4) Parallelism: < 10 arc seconds
5) Perpendicularity: < 5 arc minutes
6) Surface Flatness: <l/10 at 632.8nm
7) Clear Aperture: Central 90%
8) Chamfer: 0.15x45
9) Extinction Ratio: >28dB
10) Damage Threshold: > 15J/cm2(uncoated )> 1000 MW/cm2(coated)
