Surface Acoustic wave touch screens use transducers mounted at the edge of a glass overlay to emit ultrasonic sound waves along two sides. These waves are reflected across the surface of the glass and received by sensors. A finger or other soft tipped stylus absorbs some of the acoustic energy and the controller measures the mplitude change of the wave to determine touch location.
Bezel touchscreen
This new type of surface acoustic wave technology (patented) uses beveled corners on the glass touchscreen to lower the height profile of the transducers. The result is a significantly thinner touchscreen that allows slimmer bezel design and also reduces danger of transducer breakage during the integration process.

This type of touchscreen uses tempered glass,which provides excellent impact performance and strength several times that of ordinary glass.Even if a touchscreen is broken, the fragments are safe with no sharp edges.
This type of touchscreen should be used in public environments where vandalism is a concern or in unsupervised or industrial environments.
waterpro touchscreen
WaterPro touchscreens are typically designed for outdoor and industrial control applications. The water resistant feature of the products is compliant with IEC IP65 standards.
