The Thick Walled Fixed Spray Ball is a unit more flexible and more efficient than the typical 16swg (thin walled) fixed spray ball. It is used where rotating heads are not preferred with the added flexibility of biased or targeted drilling patterns. The advantage of using a thick wall (3-5mm) is that each hole becomes a nozzle and can deliver much better defined jets of water to the internal surfaces of the tank, the ball can also be drilled with targeted spray patterns that concentrate coverage in specific areas of the tank such as inlet connections and manways etc really helping to pass that all important coverage test during commissioning first time.
