Surface Grinder Hydraulic Or Mechanical – Segmental Or Cup

IMTC Surface Grinder (Hydraulic or Mechanical – Segmental or Cup) base is made of heavy duty, closed grain grey, cast iron amply proportion to give a rigid foundation, so essentional for precision grinding. The base houses the electrical control, gear main driving system of the work slide & coolant arrangement. The grinding head is supported by a box type coloum, which gives rigidity and minimum deflection at the wheel head. The special type motor is provided with tapper Roller Bearing. The Segmental Grinding Wheel is of the “Outside segment” type which in vertical Spindle Machines, has a distinct advantage in the setting & adjusting of the grinding segments. The segments are Secured by bronze wedges on the outer periphery of the segmental wheel. A complete set of segments can be replaced or rest in a few minutes. Protection for Segmental Wheel is heavily organized. The longitudinal work side is well designed with on bearing surface as flate square type guide ways and other is V shaped to attain the maximum efficiency and accuracy. The guide ways are lubricated with roller type internal reserior system which needs minimum attention. The slides are fully protected with covers. The controls are so arranged that the operator can handle the machine from all the convenient angles of suit the type of jobs.
