Product Description:
The TRANS-AUDIO MD12 loudspeaker enclosures provide a versatile system
that is designed for high quality
distributed sound reinforcement or as a fill
loudspeaker in larger systems or compact touring system .
The loudspeaker’s high-frequency section comprises a 1.75-inch diaphragm
compression driver a symmetrical (80 degrees horizontal by 60 degrees
vertical) constant directivity horn. A custom-designed aluminum plate frame
structure(3-inch voice coil, ± 5.5mm) 12-inch driver, bass reflex mounted in
an optimally vented enclosure, reproduces low frequencies. As a full range
system, the frequency response shall be 60 Hz to 18 kHz with less than ± 3 dB
variation and the usable bandwidth shall be 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB).
This series structures is an trapezoidal enclosure.Trapezoid cabinet
enclosure could meet the requirement of the different fixed installation and
stage monitor. According to acoustics theory, this structure can not only
reduce or nearly eliminate standing waves, but also enhances the rigidity of
the cabinet. Therefore, fewer sound absorbing materials are needed, so that
inner availability cubage will be enlarged.
Constructed from 18mm birch plywood, fitted with flush handles on top are
provided for easy lifting and carrying, internal M8 rigging points, performing
rugged cabinet and very easy for rigging. The cabinet is finished in excellent
black semi-matt textured paint with a internal socket to accept standard
loudspeaker stand and the front of the enclosure shall be protected by 1.8 mm
thick steel grille that is covered with newest unique acoustically-transparent
braiding.
Combined with TRANS-AUDIO SW Subwoofers, the MD12 allows to create
compact and powerful systems suitable for all indoor or outdoor
configuration.
The MD12 is also ideal for distributed sound reinforcement and can be used in
small to mid-sized power front-of-house (F.O.H) applications for theatres, clubs, multi-purpose venues or corporate events fixed installations etc.
