The advantages in comparison with the other processing methods
1. Advantages of water cutter
a. Almost all the materials could be processed and do not limit by the materials and thickness.
b. High cutting speed and precision.
c. Smooth kerf without raw edges and second processing is unnecessary.
d. No heat energy to materials and no thermal effect.
e. It is innocuous, dustless, no pollution and friendly to the environment.
f. Changing cutting head is unnecessary. Use the same cutting head to cut different materials can save time and cost.
g. CAD/CAM can build program quickly.
h. It may proceed precise emulation cutting.
i. No tools and clamp is needed, so it can save time and increase the efficiency.
j. Provide PC and CNC control.
2. Compared with linear cutting
a. The high cutting speed and precision.
b. No heat effect and second processing is unnecessary
c. Cutting effect is excellent no matter insulated and non-insulated materials.

5. Compared with punch cutting
a. Programming is easier.

d. Adapting to more materials.
e. No cutting block is needed.
6. Compared with flame cutting
Obviously, they belong to hot working and cause thermal effect. Relatively, waterjets are good at surface treatment. There is no dross on the back side of workpiece. Second processing is unnecessary and arrangement spacing of cutting figures can be narrowed down to reduce material cost.
