6-stand Continuous Finishing Train Equipped With Six (6) 5,000hp Motors For A Total Of 30,000hp. Each Stand Is Equipped With 762mm Diameter X 3,353mm Long Work Rolls Having Timken Roller Bearings And Each Stand Has Its Own Separate Pinion Stand.
The 6-stand Finishing Train Is Equipped As Follows:
The Rolls Are Hydraulically Balanced From A Auxiliary Hydraulic System For Work Roll Change
Consisting Of Six 200 Hp, 460 V, 3-phase, 1785 Rpm Motors.
Each Stand Is Equipped With Hydraulic Work Roll And Backup Roll Changing Equipment. This
Equipment Is Controlled Manually Or Automatically. It Is Powered By An Auxiliary Hydraulic
System Consisting Of Six 200 Hp, 460 V, 3-phase, 1785 Rpm Motors Driving Gear Pumps.
Finishing Speed On The Last Stand Is 1,090 To 2,310fpm
Total Drive Power For The Seven Stands Is 52,000hp.
58.5 Meter Long Laminar Flow Strip Cooling System With (22) Top Zones And (22) Bottom Zones
