[Plant distribution]:Grow in the low mountain area in the north of Shaanxi province. The sharp distinction of temperature and the appropriate humidity and elevation in these areas are suitable for herbal growth, so the products produced here are famous for high ester content and pure fragrance.
[Solubility]:Solvable in acetone, also can be made into solution together with propylene glycol.
[Product properties]:similar white or white crystals, intense aromatic, woody, cedar like, solvable in alcohol and diethyl benzene dimethyl, insolvable in water.
[Application scope]:1.Mainly used in the synthesis of nature ambergris substitute products including ambroxide and etc. Small amount of it is also used in blending essence.
2.The product is a kind of fine tobacco fragrance-adding and flavor-rectifying pharmaceutical. In the mixed form cigarette, it can conceal the thick and miscellaneous smell of the tobacco so as to improving the perfume quality and giving the tobacco delightful, characteristic fragrance, thus makes the cigarette softer, and tastes pure and mild. It is an effective fragrance-adding and flavor-rectifying pharmaceutical.
3.Sclareolide can increase and improve the attraction of the food and has already been used in the food industry extensively. It can be applied as a flavoring pharmaceutical to foods containing sweet condiments to increase the olfactory effects. In coffee industry, adding small amount of sclareolide can increase bitter taste of coffee and improve the refreshing result of coffee.
