Floating dredge hoses is the indispensable equipment in the dredging project. The abrasion/damage of the dredging hose will cause an abnormal shutdown of the dredging process, resulting in a decrease in dredging efficiency and a delay in the dredging construction period, resulting in great economic losses. Erosion wear and fatigue fracture damage of the hose joints are some of the common forms of abnormal damage of the dredging hose in the dredging project.
At present, common flanges are used in dredging hoses. The front end of the flange is perpendicular to the flange axis. Through the pre-tightening force of the connecting bolts, the wear-resistant rubber layer formed on the front end of the flange is integrated with the inner wall of the hose. The rubber gasket seals the conveying medium. In order to ensure the reliability of the seal, a large pre-tightening force must be applied to the connecting bolts. In the dredging operation, due to the bolt prying force effect, the inner edge of the flange of the connecting flange is separated, causing erosion of the flange and leakage of the conveying medium. At the same time, the bolt prying effect will cause the contact stress of the flange contact surface and the bolt bending stress to increase sharply, which is easy to cause the fatigue fracture of the flange and the connecting bolt.
