Our Air-filled Rubber Dam is made with a high-strength nylon or polyester fiber fabric as the skeleton layer, coated on both sides with premium synthetic rubber (CR or EPDM), formed through high-frequency heat-sealing and vulcanization processes, offering excellent pressure resistance, air tightness, and weather-aging resistance. The dam bag is anchored to a concrete foundation slab using anchor bolts. An air compressor is used to inflate the dam bag, causing it to rapidly expand and rise, achieving water retention, storage, and water-level regulation. When flood discharge, sediment removal, or debris clearing is required, the exhaust valve can simply be opened to release the air, allowing the dam to collapse and retract within minutes, restoring the river channel's original flow cross-section with minimal impact on the natural landscape.
Compared with water-filled rubber dams, air-filled rubber dams have a lighter dam body and a faster raising response, making them especially suitable for river projects requiring frequent operation and rapid response to sudden floods.
