Brass also exhibits excellent electrical conductivity. Abbott brass balls are also widely used in the security and appliance industries for dip and tilt switches. Brass balls are available in a range of sizes, tolerances and grades of brass. Since brass is an alloy of copper and zinc brass balls can come in useful in devices when electrical conductivity is needed. Brass balls are also much cheaper than ceramic balls but both have their own unique properties that make them useful for specific tasks.
