Laddle turret cylinders are used to transfer molten steel from one machine to another. These cylinders
are often made of metal or alloys to withstand high environmental temperatures. Different types and scales of ladle slugs are available. They can be designed with a ball joint bearing, con rod, or conical ring. The design of the cylinder and seals should meet the operational requirements of steel mills.
The lifting cylinders of the intermediate ladle are controlled by a hydraulic splitter. It removes the problems associated with synchronized control and has low tolerances, up to 2%. It ensures reliable operation. In addition, the cylinders are capable of tracking displacement sensors and detecting deformation. The rammers are controlled by a mounting bracket 34, which is connected to the lift beam. Despite the fact that they can't lift the entire intermediate ladle, they can still lift the device.
