Product Description:
Trough type screw conveyor or also more commonly called the U-type screw conveyor is one of the most
versatile and cost effective mechanical conveyors for handling dry bulk solids such as flakes, grains, powders, seeds and granules. The screw conveyor is able to move material horizontally or up with a maximum angle of 30 degree. It is one of the most space saving methods of transferring material horizontally or up an incline. It is able to handle material upwards of 200℃
Working Principle
Trough type screw conveyor uses an electric motor that is connected to a reducer unit and also a gear. The force provided will be used to turn the screw blade. A screw conveyor that is longer than 4m will usually have to be separated into two parts for easy shipping. To ensure efficiency of having a split design, a hanging bearing is used to ensure between the two screw blade and for ensuring seamless turning abilities od the screw blades. This type of screw conveyor is widely used in chemical, metallurgy, paper making, and construction industries.
