High chromium rolls are composite rolls with high alloy steel or iron with 8%-22% Chromium content as



the shell material and high strength nodular iron as the core material. Since chromium carbide M7C3 is higher in hardness than ferrous carbide, these rolls exhibit higher hardness, better toughness and exremely wear resistance than normal carbide.
