High-voltage electricostatic separator is one of the main equipments for electric separation.It
adops the different electrical property of all minerals and materials in the nature to realize the separation.The common minerals like ilmenite, magnetite, cassiterite, and native gold etc, have good conductivity property while quartz, zircon, feldspar, calcite, scheelite, and silicate minerals have poor conductivity property, then the electric separator adopts their different electrical property to realize the separation.
Combined with permanent magnetic separator in the process flow of separating titanium-zirconium minerals, better effect can be achieved.The struture of the machine is made up of feeding device(including hoisting machine and heating chamber), ground roller, arc-shaped corona electrode, deflecting electrode, ore-transmitting board, high-voltage current, and electric control cabinet.The machine has reasonable structure, advanced technique, convenient electric operation, perfect protection, and high automation;moreover, it is safe, reliable, attractive and novel.Because of its good effect, the product also export to many distant market area such as Australia, Indonesia, South Africa, Vietnam and other foreign market and obtain good reputation.

Working principle:
The Electrical sorting method used the differences of conductive of different mineral, Under the influence of electric field, mineral particles are subject to electrical and mechanical forces(centrifugal force, gravity, drag) role, then they produce different tracks that make them to be separated, so we can achieve the purpose of sorting.
When the temperature heated to 40°C-60°C after entered into the bin. the mineral particles enter into the power corona areas with the rotation roller shafts along the rotating feed roller(Grounding Electrode)surface, Corona current makes all the mineral particles(conductors and non-conductors) obtain negative charge, Because of low contact resistance. with the rotating feed roller, the conductor’s charges transfer by the roller away quickly, Under the action of mechanical forces, conductors escape away from the roller, and enter into the mineral hopper(conductors), At the same time, because of higher contact resistance with the rotating feed roller, the non-conductors’charges couldn’t transfer by the roller away as quickly as conductors’, so they are forced in the roller surface owing to the role of electrostatic force, with the rotating feed roller, the non-conductors enter into the back of the roller, and are unloaded under brush, Then they are collected in the excellent hopper(non-conductors), At last the Semiconductor mineral particles or failed to fully discharge the conductor mineral particles enter into the middle hopper(semiconductor mineral particles).
