Microchannel plate photomultiplier tube
MCP-PMT with large area of photo Cathode mainly applicates in
neutrino detecion, high energy physics and sigle photon detecting fields. Comparing with conventional dynode PMT, this MCP-PMT is a completely new design in structure and enjoys better ratio of spectrum peak to valley, high quantum efficiency and temporal resolution in sigle photoelectron detection.
Using Sb-K-Cs as photocathode, MCP-PMT enjoys very high quantum efficiency at 400-450nm. With double MCPs as electron amplifier, the gain could reach 10 -10 . Besides, it also enjoys superior temporal resolution thanks to short distance of gaining.
At present, only 8〞& 20〞MCP-PMT are available. We are in a position to supply custom-made MCP-PMT upon your specail requirements.
