Product Description:The Millikan oil drop experiment is a celebrated physics experiment in colleges and universities. Various

oil drop apparatuses have been used in advanced physics laboratories. Nevertheless, in using those
apparatuses, students must observe the oil drop with the aid of a microscope .Their eyes will feel tired
and ache during the period of the experiment. Besides hurting their eyesights it also affects the accuracy
of the measurements. when an oil drop is very small, its image in the field of view of the microscope will
become indistinct as time goes by. In order to avoid the defect mentioned above, we developed a
novel Millikan oil diop apparatus by means of a CCD (charge coupled device) technique. we use the CCD
image sensor(i.e. CCD camera)and the monitor so that the image of oil drop can be displayed on screen of a monitor. It not only avoids
the shortcomings mentioned above, but also provides a wider field of vision (view field? ) for observation.
In addition, the apparatus makes it possible for many people to observe simultaneously, saves time and
labor of operation and measurement, and protects eyesight of the observer.
