The Introduction of Station Post Insulator
The station post insulator is a special insulation control
that can play an important role in overhead transmission lines. In the early years, the station post insulators high voltage were mostly used for utility poles. Then it slowly developed into a high-voltage high-voltage wire connection tower with one end hanging a lot of suspended insulators. It was used to increase the creepage distance, usually made of silica gel or ceramic, called insulator.Insulators play two fundamental roles in overhead transmission lines: one is supporting the conductors and the other is preventing current from returning to the ground. Insulators should not fail due to flashover breakdown due to changes in environmental and electrical load conditions, which can compromise the use and operational life of the entire line.

The insulator has high mechanical strength, small dispersion and safe and reliable operation.
The insulator has good mechanical properties at low temperature.
