refers to the truss beam, which is a kind of lattice beam structure. Trusses are often used in public buildings such as long-span factories, exhibition halls, gymnasiums and Bridges. Trusses are also known as roof trusses because they are used mostly in building structures.
The stress of each member is mainly unidirectional tension and pressure, and it can adapt to the distribution of bending moment and shear force inside the structure through the reasonable arrangement of upper and lower chord and abdomen. Because the internal tension and pressure forces in the horizontal direction balance themselves, the whole structure does not produce horizontal thrust. Flexible structure layout, application range is very wide.
