ICM automatic self-cleaning filter consists of the main housing, geared motor, filter screen, electric brush self-cleaning system, electric drain valve and PLC control system.
The process begins with raw fluid passing through inlet flange reaching the filter element by flowing from inside the element to outside. The solid impurities in larger size than the filter screen gap are intercepted on the inside of the filter element and the filtered fluid goes from up to down into the outlet. As the impurities increase, the differential pressure between the contaminated and clean sides increases. when the set differential pressure is reached, PLC control system sends an order, then the geared motor drives the electric brush system to remove the impurities on the inside of filter screen, to keep the filter screen working smoothly with the expedite gaps. As the impurities increases, when the process parameter is reached, the drain valve is opened instantly, and the impurities are discharged to keep the pressure normal. The structure of the electric brush self-cleaning screen system is rational, and the brushing angle is optimized, under the control of the geared motor, the electric brush system removes the impurities from the filter screen timely, to avoid changing the filter screen, and keep the raw fluids passing trough the filter element smoothly, resulting in minimized spoilage of the filter element.
