Thermal Performance Aerogel Blanket For Thermal Management Engineering
An aerogel carbon sponge placed
on cherry blossoms, which is lighter than helium but absorbs 250-900 times its own weight.
If Michelangelo's famous marble statue David is made of aerogel, it will only be 4 pounds (2 kg)! Aerogel is one of the lowest density substances on the earth and is a foamy solid material, although it is almost as light as air to ensure a fixed shape. Some aerogels are only three times as dense as air, but usually aerogels are 15 times as heavy as air.
Nano aerogel felt physical properties:
Packing form: roll
Thickness: 5mm, 8mm, 10mm
Width: 1500mm
Density: 180-220kg/m3
Applicable temperature: -200 °C - +1000 °C (related to the model)
Hydrophobic: hydrophobic (below 350 ° C)
Thermal conductivity: 0.012 - 0.018w/m·k (at 25 ° C)
Nano aerogel felt advantages:
1. Excellent heat insulation effect
The aerogel felt has a thermal insulation effect of 2-5 times that of the conventional insulation material, and the theoretical service life measured according to the Arrhenius experiment is 20 years. Almost the same life as the building.
2, reduce the thickness of the insulation layer
The aerogel felt achieves the same thermal insulation effect and is only a fraction of the thickness of conventional materials. After heat preservation, the heat loss is small and the space utilization rate is high. And at high temperatures, the above performance advantages are more obvious.
3, water repellency and fire resistance
Aerogel felt water can effectively prevent moisture from entering the pipeline and equipment. At the same time, it has the fireproof performance of building A1 grade, and the unique three-dimensional network structure of aerogel avoids the phenomenon that the thermal insulation effect of other thermal insulation materials such as sintering deformation and sedimentation is significantly reduced in long-term high temperature use.
