1. Hi-Pot test：Class I: 1500Vac, 1S. Class II: 4250Vac, 1S.( cut-off current setting on Hi-pot tester should less than 100mA, initial setting 0.5~5mA was recommended)（Class I: 1500Vac, 1S. 1MA Class II: 4250Vac, 1S 1MA）
2. Polarity test：Live wire connect to switch, thermostat, Thermal fuse
3.Grounding continuity test：12V, 1.5times of rated current or 25A( whichever is greater), notexceed 0.1Ω
4.Power input test：Less than +5% of rated power and more than -10% of rated power
5.Switch operation test：Shall operate smoothly 20 times consecutively
6.Function test:Case by case
7.Boil test with water filled in:No sudden jets or hot water spouts, lid does not fall, no large water drops forming on handle or down onto base. Must shut off after reaching the boiling point
within 8 seconds. Must reset (power stays on) within 25 seconds
8.Dry boil test:Thermostat should work without melting or burning, or other safety issues Must restart after reset device is sufficiently
9. Water leakage test:Fill with water and place on a tissue paper for inspection time, No moisture to be evident.10.Strain relief test:60N, 1Sec. for 25 times, power cord displacement less than 2mm
11. Handle pull test:Apply an axial pull 30N for 1minute, no loosen out
12. Screw strength torque test:Screw strength torque test
13.Stability test:Shall not tip over when tilted to a 10 degree angle in any direction( for electric heat appliance increase to 15)
14.Screen printing test:No peel off using 3M Tape
15.Plating test:Cut 1.0mm cross hatch on surface, No peel off using 3M Tape
16.Endurance test：Operate product in normal condition with max setting for2-3 hours, then hi-pot test and function test shall be conducted, all results shall be acceptable
17.Carton drop test：As ISTA TEST PROCEDURES 2B&2A
18.Internal construction test：Adequate clearance and creepage distance, correct components, no foreign object inside, no loose
19.Fuse inside plug (for BS)：Approved BS 1363 plug, correct wiring, no loose strands& wire, no solders, terminal screws, plug screw and fuse holder were secure
20.UPC Barcode scannable test：All UPC barcode in sample are scannable, UPC scanned number match UPC label
