Ceramic feed valve is a kind of industrial valve which is widely installed at ash handling system in
the coal fire plant . Due to tight sealing performance, anti-abrasiveness performance and long life time, ceramic feed valve is selected by many design and maintenance engineers who worked at the power plant . But Why ceramic feed valve is not fully ceramic valve ?
Fist of all, let us understand why fully ceramic valve is seldom used in the industrial line, the reason is that ceramic is easy to fraigile . If the valve body is fully made by ceramic, the strength can not meet the requirement of industrial usage . Secondly, the ceramic is difficulty to fabricate as the high hardness, it only be made by grinding . So it is not easy to made special shape by ceramic materials .
That is the answer why ceramic feed valve is not fully ceramic valve .
The pneumatic ceramic rotary gate valve is developed according to the fault frequently occurred during the operation of the dome valve .The ceramics is used as the wear-resisting parts.The sealing surface of the product is made of toughened engineering ceramics with good abrasion resistance and prolonged service life.This valve is widely use in dense phase pneumatic conveying system of power plant.
